string quartet (2024)

In August 2024 Composers Concordance presented a concert in Montpelier, Vermont, for which I wrote O Vermont and, later, Concord Dance, scored for B-flat trumpet, two violins and cello. However, there was not sufficient room on the program for the second piece so I changed the B-flat trumpet line into one for viola, et voila. This studio recording of the quartet will be included on “Incandescendence,” a CD of some of my recent chamber music scheduled for a June 2025 release.
